is seeking to hire a Contract Inspector for our client in Hopkinsville, KY!Benefits Available!Weekly Pay!Pay Rate - $16.
50/hrRotating Shift:
This is part of a 3-person rotating shiftThe schedule is based upon amounts of product run each week, so shift hours may vary week to weekSchedules are planned the week prior to production, with a requirement of working a late shift rotation every third week, if necessaryHours typically vary between 5am - 3:
30pm, but can be as early as 3:
30am and as late as 11pm (although this is not typical)The set shift time currently is 5am - 3:
30pm (4 days a week), however be aware this is subject to change at any given timeShifts are split to allow for reasonable workloads.
Job DescriptionContract Inspector Primary
Responsibilities:
-Sample collection at various processing points-Visual sample evaluation-Sample collection and analysis recordkeeping-Routine balance/instrument verification and documentation-Visual inspection of process lines-General housekeeping of work area-Other assigned dutiesMandatory -MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A HOT, DUSTY ENVIRONMENT -Ability to work in a team environment -Ability to work flexible hours on a rotational schedule (early AM to late PM) -Ability to work overtime/weekends -Ability to lift 50 lbs-Professional approach to work, detail oriented -Flexible skills, able to manage multiple tasks -Excellent communication skills -Good troubleshooting/problem solving skills -Dependable and punctual -Comply with all Safety, Regulatory, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) -Self-motivated Ideal Candidate -Experience in a quality and/or manufacturing setting -Basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office, LIMS, etc.
