Qualifications:
oHigh school diploma or GEDoProgressive education or experience in hydraulics; programmable logic; pneumatics; HVAC; plumbing; electrical repair and electronic repair and troubleshootingoPrefer an individual with a journeyman certificate in maintenanceoMinimum three years industrial maintenance experienceoMust provide own tools Critical Success Factors:
oThe employee must maintain an excellent attendance record, which is defined as being at work all the time and on timeoAbility to read and follow work instructionsoAbility to perform complex mathematical calculations using algebra and trigonometryoAbility to apply commonsense understanding to detailed but simple written or oral instructionsAbility to deal with problems involving many variables in different situations
Responsibilities:
oPerforms assignments that range in complexity from simple machine repair to troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic systemsoInsure compliance with Federal/State/Local safety and environmental regulationsoSeek ways to reduce waste, manufacturing byproducts, and hazardous raw materialsoSeek corrective actions for maintenance issues.
