General
Summary:
Lead and support all areas of Administration - Human Resources, Safety, IT, & Accounting & Finance II.
Essential Job Functions:
A.
Lead and direct all General Administration functions.
1.
Direct and support team member onboarding and orientation2.
Direct and support HR staff in administration of compensation and benefits programs and other team member services that support Company philosophy, profitability, and success.
3.
Provide leadership in the establishment and maintenance of team member relations that will assist in the attraction and retention of a desirable and productive labor force.
4.
Direct all budget creation for General Administration, Human Resources, IT, and Accounting & Finance to optimize expenses.
5.
Develop and update plant Hoshin6.
Promotes strong management for all aspects of Environmental, Health, and Safety planning, compliance, and implementation.
7.
Supports development plans/opportunities for all TBAGC team members.
8.
Supports the implementation of plant projects and initiatives.
9.
Support manufacturing operations through policies and processes that support staffing, morale, IT solutions, and safety.
Kaizen attrition and attendance issues as necessary.
10.
Collaborate with TBA function leaders on standards and practices.
11.
Support functions related to budgets, consolidated financial reporting, forecasting, JSOX, internal controls, and monthly closing and reporting.
12.
Support functions related to IT services & solutions, business applications, IT security, IT infrastructure, networks, servers, virtualization, telephony and data centers.
B.
Lead and work as a collaborative business partner with plant Executives along with Finance to manage all labor cost and head count to meet profit plan targets.
1.
Create, manage and deliver all related HR KPI's to the Officers of the company2.
Oversee and manage labor costs, headcount staffing, training, and developmentC.
Direct or assist with the management and administration of other Human Resource support functions on a local plant level including organizational planning, organizational development and succession planning, compensation and benefits, HRIS, public/community relations, and general affairs.
D.
Lead and coordinate the development of all Human Resources, Accounting, and IT policies and procedures.

Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce human resource policies, practices, and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve overall operation, effectiveness, and cost containment.
b.
Ensure consistent interpretation and application of all company policies.
Provide training and oversite to ensure same.
E.
Provide day to day direction for HR, Accounting and IT Departments.
1.
Select, train, develop, and organize subordinate staff to perform and meet departmental responsibilities and objectives effectively.
2.
Meet with and direct activities for department managers on a daily/weekly basis.
3.
Direct the management of reporting and auditing for compliance with professional standards and statutory compliance.
III.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; Accounting, or Human Resources Management required; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Master's degree preferred PHR or SPHR designation preferred
Experience:
Minimum 12 years of Business Management, Administration, or Human Resources experience required.
Manufacturing/Automotive setting experience preferred.
Greater than 6 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting Experience and working knowledge of Finance, Budgeting, and P&L Experience in Automotive OEM, Tier 1 Supplier in a Japanese management setting preferred Experience in Project Management preferred.
Personal/Technical Skills:
Good communication and presentation skills.
Able to influence executive decisions.
Broad working knowledge of human resource policies, programs, and procedures in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of state and federal employment and labor statutes and regulations including ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, FMLA, NLRA, Title VII, etc.
Advanced math skills Must be able to work a fixed or rotating shift schedule, including daily or weekend overtime.
Ability to maintain on-call flexibility to control abnormal conditions.
Strong leadership skills and ability.
Servant leadership approach.
Ability to manage projects with a limited support staff.
Excellent project skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
Comfortable with data analysis and problem solving activity.
Strong problem solving skills.

Language Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Japanese would be helpful, but is not required.
Computer/Software:
ERP System experience (Oracle preferred) including HRIS experience.
Solid working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications (e.

, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.
).

Work Environment/Conditions:
Office:
Open Office EnvironmentPlant:
Standard automotive plant with moderate noise levels.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hearing protection, etc.
may be required in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas.
Personal attire standards may apply.
Travel:
5-15% V.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear.
Ability to sit and work on a computer for extensive periods of time is required.
The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
The ability to travel by automobile and airplane are both required.
