com Mission/Objective The Quality Engineer working through suppliers, manufacturing plants, and/or customers, is responsible for facilitating safe, quality improvement and resolving issues that lead to the achievement of successful PPAP.
The Quality Engineer shall be responsible for the support of the Organization in its quest to produce quality products, which meet customer requirements, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.
The QE will also work to continually improve our processes and support the quality management system Essential Functions and Key Accountabilities - Responsible for developing, implementing, and improving processes concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for inspection, testing and evaluation - Involved in all functions of quality including APQP, problem solving, GD&T, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions - Write and execute protocols and reports, review documentation, perform root cause investigations, assess impact and analyze risk in support of new products, new equipment, process changes and test method changes.
- Participate in the establishment of quality specifications and standards for raw materials and for process and finished products.
- Perform quality audit procedures covering in-house manufacturing procedures and suppliers, ensure that conformance to requirements are met.
- Advise Quality Manager on matters of quality that affect the company and recommend appropriate corrective action.
- Provide technical assistance and support to the Manufacturing for their product lines.
Generate and follow through on Non-conformance reports (NCRs) when necessary.
- Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data - Responsible for quality auditing, problem solving and quality training in all aspects of Operations - Required to communicate to all levels of plant team members as well as suppliers and customers on a timely basis any relevant information - Implement strategic quality planning for the facility - Acts as Customer Representative for quality issues; Communicate with suppliers, issue SCARs and when requested, conduct supplier audits.
- Other duties as assigned Academic and Experience - BS Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical, Industrial or other technical area or Equivalent Experience and Education - ASQ certification is desirable - 3-5 years' experience in quality system development - 3-5 years quality engineering experience in automotive/assembly (prefer automotive TIER I supplier experience) - Knowledgeable in processing, manufacturing or tooling design environments is desirable.
- Familiarity with ISO 16949 requirements - Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem solving or other applied leadership experience.
Technical Skills - Proficient computer skills/Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point) - Experience in supplier development - Experience in teaching quality tools - APQP, problem solving, GD&T, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions - Quality Systems Management - Human Development Management Cross functional leadership - Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Management Fundamentals.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
