Demonstrates written and oral communication skills.

Plans, organizes, gathers and assembles data.
Demonstrates knowledge of common formats for correspondence and reposts.
Use of department specific equipment.
Accurately opens, sorts, and routes mail.
Monitors inventory and orders supplies.
Processes Outpatient prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner.
Completes Inpatient orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Educates customers with pertinent information applicable to orders, prescriptions, and administration of medications.
Manages inventory well.
Sustains adequate inventory of controlled and non-controlled drugs.
Provides accurate and timely OTC consults to customers.
Documents drug transactions accurately.
Demonstrates accountability and responsibility with Pharmacy equipment and software.
Operates McKesson system correctly per pharmacy procedure.
Oversees third party reimbursement and coverage for Outpatient prescriptions consistent with insurances, regulatory agencies and hospital policy.

Pharmacy Technicians Pharmacy Technician certification necessary.
Minimum Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Required ExperienceMinimum Work
Experience:
Problem solving, customer service and reception duties, preferable in a clinical setting.
Recommended Skills Administration Attention To Detail Clinical Works Communication Customer Service Problem Solving Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
