Materials Planner/Scheduler

Starting salary range $45-55K DOE
Material Planner will plan, release, schedule, expedite and monitor materials required for production; manage daily inventory and schedules; analyze, coordinate and communicate detailed production planning material requirements; and manager special projects. The Material Planner will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Successful candidate will be detail oriented and have solid analytical skills and ability to use various computer applications for analysis and reporting. Ability to work in a fast paced work environment is essential. APICS certification is a plus.
Position prefers a BS degree (any) and manufacturing experience in materials planning and scheduling.
2-3 years knowledge/skill using ERP, inventory management and working with Bills of Material. Will also consider appropriate experience in an auto parts manufacturing environment.
Must be willing to take on new projects as needed and have the flexibility to support various plant departments as part of the responsibilities. Will assess the impact on engineering change orders and execute change in materials as required. This challenging position will require high energy and rapid attention to detail.
Company will offer a competitive starting salary DOE, benefits and some assistance in relocation cost to move. Preference is for candidates living in Western Kentucky or Tennessee. A stable work history is essential.
